Baritone Oliver Heuzenroeder is a member of the Royal Academy of Music Opera Studio in London, where he studies with Mark Wildman and Jonathan Papp. He is supported by the Carr-Gregory Trust, the Help Musicians Sybil-Tutton Opera Award and the Josephine Baker Trust. Hailing from Australia, he completed his undergraduate studies with first-class honours at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University before moving to London to complete his Master's degree with distinction at the Royal Academy of Music.
Recent operatic engagements include Tarquinius in The Rape of Lucretia, the title role in Eugene Onegin, Dancaïre in Carmen, Ned Keene in Peter Grimes, Sancho in Don Quichotte, Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Frédéric in Lakmé, and Marcello in La bohème, with companies including the Royal Academy of Opera, Hampstead Garden Opera, British Youth Opera, Opera Holland Park, and Opera Australia. In the 2026/27 season, Oliver sings Der Graf in Strauss' Capriccio and Count Almaviva for the Royal Academy Opera.

Oliver is also an active recitalist and concert singer whose performances have taken him across Australia, the UK, Italy, and the Netherlands. His association with the Georg Solti Accademia has brought him to concert stages in Venice and Tuscany for performances supported by Rolex, while his membership of the Royal Academy's Song Circle has seen him perform at Wigmore Hall and the Austrian Cultural Forum. On the oratorio platform he appears as a soloist for the Josephine Baker Trust and the International Vocal Competition, with repertoire spanning Mozart and Haydn masses, Handel's Messiah, and Bach Passions. He has participated in masterclasses with Richard Bonynge, Sir Thomas Allen, Carlo Rizzi, Barbara Frittoli, Yvonne Kenny AM, and Olaf Bär.
A former Melba Opera Trust Artist, his awards include the Annie McFarling and Ryman Healthcare Scholarship, the Elizabeth Muir Memorial Prize, the Bettine McCaughan Memorial Scholarship, and the Joyce Campbell-Lloyd Scholarship. He placed second in the Australian Concerto and Vocal Prize and was a semi-finalist in the Sydney Opera Prize.
